Eugene Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Eugene, Oregon.
Eugene Country Club was organized in 1899. It is the second oldest country club in the State, antedated only by Waverley of Portland. In 1912, the club was incorporated and acquired its first clubhouse on South Willamette Street.
Eugene Country Club's 18 hole golf course first opened for play in 1923. The course was designed by Chandler Egan. Over the years this course with its natural setting among tall firs and other scenic wonderment's developed a reputation as one of the finest golf courses on the Pacific Coast. The course was redesigned by Robert Trent Jones.
Golfing on the new Robert Trent Jones course is made more challenging and enjoyable by the large spacious greens, the addition of a new lake and waterways, and the sparkling white bunkers. The deep, lush grass of the course continued to be maintained in the highest standard by a completely automatic sprinkling system installed during the course remodeling.
Today the par 72 course plays to 6,847 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 73.9 and the slope rating is 136.

Always featured in Golf Digest top 100 USA courses and well deserved. I've been fortunate enough to play this course on many occaisions it is as good as it gets! If you are able to get a chance to play it don't hesitate, the staff are friendly and the food superb.
